Nació el 18 de Agosto de 1904, conocido por ser un sacerdote de Melipilla y llamado "El cura del pueblo", quien falleció el 3 de agosto 1993.

Nació el 6 de Febrero de 1856 en Melipilla, fue conocido por ser comandante de la expedición que incorporó la Isla de Pascua a Chile en 1888. Falleció en 1921 a los 65 años en Santiago.

Este es un personaje ya tradicional de la ciudad, generalmente visible en el centro y en partes aledañas, por los personajes oficiales son los que han realizado actos dignos de reconocer por el Estado, como aportes en las guerras, contribuciones al crecimiento de Chile, participación en el desarrollo diferentes instituciones, entre otras cosas.

 Lo que se sabe es una persona que fue abandonada por su familia y que actualmente vive sola, Presenta diversos problemas y desórdenes mentales que se manifiestan en ciertas conductas y comportamientos inesperados.

Una mujer que supuestamente padece una enfermedad mental contrastando con los momentos de lucides que tiene, es de un carácter bastante cambiante, esta individua generalmente presenta comportamientos violentos, que se traducen en golpes, amenazas, brujería, etc.

Estos dos personajes son y fueron muy reconocidos en Melipilla, ya que a pesar del problema que tenían con el alcohol se les conocía por ser bastante educados. Al tiempo falleció uno de los hermanos y el otro cayo aún más en el alcohol. Se moviliza por Ortúzar, Manso y la plaza de armas.

Otro personaje de la ciudad, este individuo proviene de la costera ciudad de San Antonio, también destacan sus habilidades como mentiroso ya que es muy hábil para pedir limosna e inspirar lástima.

En el año 2000 Adolfo iba en un viaje junto a sus compañeros de basquetbol a Argentina, de regreso sufrieron un accidente que dejó tres muertos y al menos quince heridos, este a causa del accidente perdió ambas piernas. A pesar de las desganas luego de perder sus piernas comenzó con la terapia y las prótesis las cuales lo llevaron a conocer el mundo del deporte más específicamente el ciclismo, comenzó descendiendo cerros en bicicleta  y a pesar de que el camino no fue fácil nunca se vio derrotado y hoy en día ha sido reconocido a nivel mundial por su excelencia como ciclista con prótesis.

In the year 2000 Adolfo was on a trip with his basketball teammates to Argentina, on the way back they suffered an accident that left three dead and at least fifteen injured, because of the accident he lost both legs. Despite the reluctance after losing his legs, he began with therapy and prosthesis which led him to know the world of sport more specifically cycling, he began descending hills by bicycle and although the road was not easy, he was never defeated and today he has been recognized worldwide for his excellence as a cyclist with prosthesis.

Valentina padecía de fibrosis quística,  uyna enfermedad hereditaria y degenerativa que afecta sus pulmones, hígado y páncreas. Esta enfermedad no tiene cura hasta el día de hoy y al ser hereditaria, Su hermano mayor falleció a los 6 años de esta misma.  Valentina  en el año 2015 le hizo una petición a la en ese entonces presidenta Michelle Bachelet, la cual consistía en quitarse la vida con un mecanismo asistido ( eutanasia)  para poder dejar el sufrimiento que tenía. Lamentablemente, La ex presidenta se la negó, ya que era ilegal y terminó falleciendo en el mismo año. Ella ha inspirado a múltiples personas ya que no era la única que pedía morir dignamente y sin sufrir.

Valentina suffered from cystic fibrosis, a hereditary and degenerative disease that affects her lungs, liver and pancreas. This disease has no cure to this day and being hereditary, her older brother passed away at the age of 6 years old.  Valentina in 2015 made a request to the ex president Michelle Bachelet, which was to take her own life with an assisted mechanism (euthanasia) to stop the suffering she had. Unfortunately, the president denied her request, since it was illegal, and she ended up dying the same year. She has inspired many people since she was not the only one who asked to die with dignity and without suffering.

Historia de un Oso, es un cortometraje animado Chileno de 2014, dirigido por Gabriel Osorio quien proviene de Melipilla, producido por Patricio Escala, fue ganador de la categoría "Mejor cortometraje animado" de los premios Óscars, siendo la primera producción Chilena en obtener uno así como la única producción latinoamericana de animación  en triunfar en el evento y ser nominada en dicha categoría.

Story of a bear is a Chilean animated short film from 2014, directed by Gabriel Osorio who comes from Melipilla, produced by Patricio Escala, was the winner of the "Best animated short film" category at the Oscars, being the first Chilean production to obtain one like this. as the only Latin American animation production to succeed in the event and be nominated in that category.

Este es un niño del colegio San Sebastián el cual en 2022 cursaba su 4to año básico, participo de una competencia de taekwondo en Brasil en la cual quedó en 2do lugar en Sparring y 3er lugar en Armas.

This is a boy from San Sebastian school  which in 2022 was in its 4th year of basic education, he participated in a taekwondo competition in Brazil in which he came in 2nd place in Sparring and 3rd place in Weapons.
